Whether it’s a love note, a fancy gift, or sharing a plate of gourmet cookies, a romantic gesture is the perfect way to show your partner how much they mean to you this holiday season. If you are in need of some inspiration, you’re in the right place. Below a few of our readers share their romantic gift ideas.

Thoughtful and Personal
My love language is giving gifts, and I love giving gifts to my husband as long as it doesn’t hurt my (or our) budget.
1. Complete His Gaming Setup
Currently, he is completing his gaming setup since he is a gamer and kick-starting his streaming career. I’d love to give him something to help him fulfill his dreams and goals.
2. Cook For Him
This might sound petty and cliché, but in our home, IT’S NOT. Typically, my husband is the one who cooks in our house (and we also have a hired helper to cook for us every day). Unfortunately, I’m not that good in the kitchen, yet I’d love to cook for him this coming holiday. It will be challenging, but there’s nothing impossible for a person who loves.
Something From the Heart
There are so many wonderful romantic things you can do for your partner during the holidays, but one of the most special and memorable is to create a custom gift. You can personalize just about anything, from a mug to a bracelet, and make it extra special by adding a loving note or message.
[A custom gift] is the perfect way to show your partner how much you care and that you took the time to think about what would make them happy. Plus, it’s something they can keep and treasure forever.
Another great idea is to plan a special date night. This can be anything from getting tickets to a holiday show or going out for a romantic dinner. If you want to go above and beyond, you could surprise your partner with a weekend getaway.
Whatever you do, make sure it comes from the heart and that you take the time to show your partner how much you love and appreciate them. That’s what the holidays are all about, after all.

A Little Extra
I want to go a little extra this year to make it a holiday season to appreciate all her efforts and love that she has showered on our family and me.
First, I am taking her to a fancy restaurant for a candlelit dinner. I have also secretly arranged for us to stay in a hotel overnight, so we can have some time away from the kids.
For the longest time, my wife wanted to go on a hot-air balloon ride. I am going to make her dream come true and take her on a romantic hot-air balloon ride, followed by a picnic lunch. I know she is going to love it!
I plan to write her a love letter telling her how much she means to me. [Finally], I am going to get a beautiful ring with our wedding date engraved on the inside.
I am sure she won’t be expecting anything like this from me, so it will be such a nice surprise. This will be a wonderful way to show her how much I love her and appreciate all that she does for me.
Messages in a Bottle
I plan to give [my partner] a bottle of sweet messages so he can open one daily. [The messages will include] our experiences, words of encouragement, cute pictures together, and other mementos.
This way, he feels inspired every day, whatever he is going through. Though this romantic initiative seems like a lot of effort, it is certainly worth it, as I will put all my feelings into making this bottle.

Quality Time
Camping is on top of my list as a gift since we are both fond of adventures. Getting to explore the outdoors with your partner is a fantastic experience. It is a chance to disconnect from the digital world and show your partner’s intimate side.
Spending time in a peaceful and quiet place with each other is a memorable experience. It is a great time to talk about anything, such as dreams for the future.
